Kraft Heinz Collaborates with Partners to Pioneer Green Development Initiatives​​

In today’s world of challenges and opportunities, sustainable development has become a global consensus. To jointly advance this universal goal, Kraft Heinz partnered with SDA, Yangtze River Delta ESG & Zero-Carbon Research Institute, U.S. Consulate General Shanghai Agricultural Trade Office, and UPP to launch a new green development initiative on September 19.

Kraft Heinz’s sustainability report emphasizes the importance of responsible sourcing as one of its three core pillars. Their ESG strategy comprises: “Environmental Stewardship,” “Responsible Sourcing,” and “Healthy Living & Community Support.” In procurement practices, Kraft Heinz implements various measures to promote responsible sourcing, exploring sustainable development’s potential value to provide responsible procurement options.

​​David Wang​​, Head of Procurement & Sustainability at Kraft Heinz China, delivered a speech at the “SUSTAINABILITY & ESG WORKSHOP,” highlighting ESG’s critical role in corporate sustainability. He noted ESG serves not only as a key metric for sustainable development but also drives corporate social responsibility and enhances brand image. David called on participants to explore ESG’s practical applications and potential in advancing corporate sustainability, contributing to a greener, shared, and secure future.
