Sustainable Development Asia (SDA) Annual Impact Report 2025

Connecting Action · Empowering Industry · Co-creating a Low-Carbon Future

In 2025, we have come to a clearer realization:
Sustainable development is never a lonely road, but an ongoing collaborative effort.
Against the backdrop of a complex and ever-changing global environmental landscape, Sustainable Development Asia (SDA) has chosen a path that may not be the loudest, but is consistently forward-moving—
replacing slogans with action, and enabling change through connection.

What We Did This Year

Over the past year, guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), SDA has continued to drive industrial collaboration, technological empowerment, and practical implementation across the Asia-Pacific region.
We have translated grand themes like “Green & Low-Carbon,” “Smart Manufacturing,” and “Sustainable Supply Chains” into real conversations, collaborations, and actions.
127,000+ community partners and industry peers continuously engaged
17 in-depth events held at the industrial frontline
Covering key topics including AI, Green Supply Chains, Smart Manufacturing, ESG, and Women in Leadership

Enabling the Flow of Ideas

SDA has also continued to build platforms for dialogue, bringing diverse stakeholders to the same table.
Shanghai Climate Week · Climate Beacon Forum: Exploring how AI technology can become a practical tool for climate action.
SSCL CHINA EXPO 2025: Focusing on resilience rebuilding and green transformation of sustainable supply chains.
Infineon OktoberTech™ Summit: Decoding the critical role of semiconductor technology in the green, low-carbon transition.
Fudan University Sustainable Development Forum: Promoting tangible connections between industry, academia, and research.
SDA 2025 Annual Summit: Discussing the next steps for a low-carbon value chain under the theme ‘Smart Procurement × Green Supply Chain.’
We do not seek to be the “loudest,” but care more about:
Which dialogues have genuinely catalyzed change.

Who We Are

SDA is a platform dedicated to continuous “connection.”
We bring together purpose-driven enterprises, technology partners, research institutions, and individuals, committed to promoting the localized implementation of the UN SDGs in the Asia-Pacific region.

Our approach is simple, and long-term:
Connect: Break down industry silos and foster cross-boundary collaboration.
Empower: Share experience and practices to enhance industrial capabilities.
Co-create: Work with partners to turn solutions into reality.

We focus on:
Clean & Sustainable Energy
Smart Manufacturing & Industrial Innovation
Inclusive, Resilient & Low-Carbon Supply Chains

On Responsibility & Transparency

As a non-profit collaborative platform, SDA consistently adheres to prudent and transparent operational principles. Our financial management follows strict internal rules and regulations and is subject to regular review.
In 2025, over 90% of our expenditures were directly allocated to event execution, project collaboration, and community operations, with administrative costs maintained below 1%. We are committed to ensuring every resource invested translates into tangible social and environmental value.

Gratitude to Every Fellow Traveler

We sincerely wish to express our gratitude.
To the volunteers, partners, community members, industry experts, and every participant—
